Mohammad Irfan,

Director of Projects and Operations at Imtex Membranes

Mohammad Irfan has a long history of work experience in the petrochemical industry. Mohammad began their career in 2000 as the Project/Plant Manager at Arab Pesticide Industries Co., where they managed shift operations of the plant, enforced quality and production standards, and prepared and monitored the annual budget. In 2011, they took on the role of Production Supervisor at Qwatro Corporation, and also worked as a Consultant Data Collection at Utopia Inc/Accenture At Shell Fort McMurray. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at KMX Membrane Technologies as Operations Manager, where they were involved in the development of process designs and took them through all phases from conceptual design to detailed design, engineering, implementation, and start-up. Currently, they are the Director of Projects and Operations at Imtex Membranes, where they are responsible for the company's patented process, Permylene, which has significant cost, capacity de-bottlenecking, and emissions reduction benefits.

Mohammad Irfan obtained a Master in Chemical Technology from Karachi University in 1986. Mohammad has also completed courses from the Project Management Institute in Project Management and PMP. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Project Management Institute, International Scrum Institute, International Six Sigma Institute, Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Canadian Red Cross, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC), Kanban, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), CPR, and Standard First Aid - CPR/AED Level C Canadian Red Cross.
