Krishnan Balakrishnan

Krishnan Balakrishnan is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in delivering innovative technology solutions across multiple industries. Currently serving as Technical Leader for APAC at IMTF since August 2020, Krishnan has successfully led teams to deliver wealth management solutions, including KYC and AML, and has driven multi-million dollar projects that attracted key clients in Europe. Prior roles include Research Development Software Engineer at IBM Research Labs, where Krishnan contributed to the SAFER project, enhancing maritime operations through real-time analytics, and Technical Lead at HP, focusing on e-commerce catalog management. Additional experience encompasses consultancy and technical specialist roles at companies such as NCS Pte Ltd, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Systems, Netcracker Technology, and Wipro Technologies. Krishnan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, completed in 2006.
