Dave Skulsky MBA, P.Eng (B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering) has extensive experience in economic engineering, business advisory, project definition management, corporate finance, planning and analysis, and various operations and technical engineering management positions.
In 2021, Dave Skulsky joined Imubit as an Economic Engineering where they assess the market for potential applications and develops model strategies for Imubit's pioneering software technology for manufacturing processes. Dave also develops future optimization opportunities, strategy roadmaps, and development activities for existing and expansive software applications. Additionally, they evaluate AI machine learning, neural network models via technical and economic understanding.
Prior to Imubit, Dave Skulsky was President at Summit Advisory Group Inc. and a Senior Business Advisor at Becht in 2020.
From 2002 to 2020, Dave Skulsky worked at Irving Oil as Senior Manager-Project Definition Management: Refining, Logistics and Terminals, Refinery Supply-Strategy/Integration Manager, and Corporate Finance, Planning and Analysis. In these roles, they led all Program Management activities including technical, economic evaluations, design, and execution for Irving Oil's strategic profit improvement program. Dave also facilitated and managed the annual profit improvement brainstorming process and "lessons learned" activities across all business lines.
Before Irving Oil, Dave Skulsky worked at Suncor from 1992 to 2002 in various roles, such as Operations Manager Millennium Upgrader, Production Planning and Execution Lead, and Upgrading Process Engineering. In these roles, they managed the construction, commissioning, and start-up of various process plants within the Millennium upgrader expansion. Dave also developed and executed monthly and annual production plans that maximized corporate profitability and led process engineering activities for a capital investment within a bitumen delayed coking complex.
Dave Skulsky holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, and a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
