Mobile Team Lead at In All Media

Daniel Salinas has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering field. Daniel began their career at Gameloft in 2005 as a Lead Programmer for New Tech projects, Windows mobile/Blackberry/Touchscreen projects, and a R&D Windows Mobile-Brew Programmer. In these roles, they designed and developed ways to take advantage of new capabilities of every device to maximize the user experience. Daniel also worked on mass port publishing process, porting BREW applications to several devices, and implementation of new modules for additional functionality. Additionally, they worked on development of applications for mobile devices, release of several applications certified under strict QA controls, and accomplishment of objectives with rigorous deadlines.

In 2011, Daniel moved to Playful Interactive as a Technical Lead. In this role, they worked on projects for mobile devices (iOS/Android) for clients of different sectors, provided technical support to the team, trained and guided developers, analyzed and recommended the best technologies for new projects, analyzed and defined high level tasks starting from client requirements, and trained and evaluated the development team in technical design of new projects.

In 2015, Daniel joined Dextra Technologies as a Sr Software Engineer and Technical Lead. In this role, they worked on mobile applications for an insurance company, application for clients and adjusters oriented to help users to request services related to their policies. Daniel implemented encrypted data for communication and local storage, google services for geo reference, push notifications for real time updates, and soap web services for communication with backend server. The application was designed using 4+1 architectural view model, originally developed with Objective C and Java Android, and is currently being migrated to new Apple and Android languages swift and kotlin.

Daniel returned to In All Media in 2019 as a Mobile Team Lead. In this role, they worked on mobile applications for live video streaming, video on demand streaming, and full video replay streaming of TV Sports events. Daniel worked in native multi target projects for iOS: iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and for Android: Android phones, Tablets, Chromecast, every one with variants and flavors for different subsidiaries. Daniel also worked in coordination with several specialized development teams with the same project, everyone with specific targets, and worked closely with team members analyzing new features and defining the best practices to follow on solutions implementation.

Daniel Salinas obtained their ISC in Ingenieria en sistemas computacionales con especialidad en Bases de Datos from Instituto Tecnologico de Veracruz between 2000 and 2005. Daniel has also obtained five certifications from LinkedIn in 2021, including Bienestar, coordinación y flexibilidad en casa y en el trabajo, Cómo hackear tu mente y recuperar el control sobre el estrés, GitHub para programadores, Swift 5 avanzado 1, and Swift 5 avanzado 2.
