Nick Spirit

Nick Spirit has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 when they worked as a Research Intern at the Centre International de Recherche en Infectiologie (CIRI). Nick was part of a research team studying staphylococcal pathogenesis and specifically worked on a project analyzing the interactions between clinical strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus.

In 2017, Nick worked as a Hospital Trolley Service Volunteer at the Royal Voluntary Service and later became a Resort Representative for Crystal Ski at TUI Group.

In 2018, they worked as a Freelance Translator at EcoInstall before joining IN-PART in 2019 as a Research Officer for Discover.

Nick then joined NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) in 2020 as a Stakeholder Engagement Manager for the NIHR Centre for Engagement and Dissemination (CED).

Currently, they are working at IN-PART again, this time as the Head of Business Development for Discover. Prior to this, they held the roles of Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager for Discover at the same company.

From 2013 to 2017, Nick Spirit attended The University of Manchester where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in BSc (Hons) Microbiology with French.
