Joy Tuminello

Joy Tuminello is a Senior Project Engineer at IQT (In-Q-Tel) since October 2022, serving as a technical lead in product development. Previously, Joy worked at VT Group (VTG) from August 2019 to October 2022 as a Software Developer, focusing on full-stack development in vulnerability assessment and Model Based Systems Engineering tools using Java and Python. Joy's experience also includes roles as an Educational Outreach Ambassador at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, where support for K-12 outreach and educator communication was provided, and as a Lead Instructor and Instructor at iD Tech Camps, teaching programming languages to middle school students. Joy began a career in education as a Paraeducator at Central Kitsap School District, developing curriculum and teaching introductory computer science to elementary students. Joy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington, earned in 2019.
