Ben Kimbell

Ben Kimbell has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ben started their career at Hewlett-Packard as an image scientist and software technical lead, where they worked on image processing algorithms, collaborated with external suppliers, and implemented efficient audio codecs. Ben then joined Pelco, where they held various roles, including imaging architect and software manager, as well as Vice President of Engineering and Product Management. During their time at Pelco, Ben led the organization on a transition from analog security cameras to emerging technologies like IP cameras, cloud computing, and video analytics. Ben was also involved in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and expanding market share in emerging economies. Currently, Ben serves as the Vice President of R&D and Marketing at In-Situ Environmental.

Ben Kimbell attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
