Ethan Plaehn is a propulsion research engineer at In Space LLC since January 2024 and has an extensive background in aerospace engineering. From January 2017 to December 2023, Ethan served as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, Graduate Research Assistant, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories, where contributions included gas-turbine combustion research and the design of electrical data acquisition systems. Prior experience includes an internship in combustion devices component product engineering at Aerojet Rocketdyne and various roles in soccer-related coaching and officiating. Ethan holds a PhD, an MS, and a BS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, where education spanned from 2015 to 2023. High school education was completed at Conifer High School between 2011 and 2015.
