Nischal Shrestha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2014, they started working as a Math/Computer Science Lab Assistant at Truman State University, where they resolved technical issues and provided a positive learning environment for students. Nischal also served as an International Ambassador, representing the university and assisting international students with their transition.
In 2015, Nischal began working as an Information Technology Services Student Technician at Truman State University, providing IT support to students and faculty. Nischal troubleshooted software, hardware, and connectivity issues, achieving a high rate of issue resolution on the first call.
In 2016, Nischal joined Namasté Nepal as a Website Administrator, where they maintained and updated the organization's website and application. Nischal ensured web security and system usability through regular debugging and upgrades.
In 2017, Nischal worked as a Freelance Web Developer Intern at Code for Nepal, a non-profit organization focused on improving digital literacy and open data in Nepal.
In 2018, Nischal interned at Equifax as an IT Business Analyst, where they gathered requirements, facilitated meetings, and created dashboards and automated reports. Nischal also worked as an IT Architect, leading a team of developers to implement structural database requirements for an intern project.
From 2019 to 2020, Nischal worked as a Technical Analyst Associate at Turnberry Solutions, where they analyzed geo-spatial data, administered digital analytics dashboards, supervised a flight plans project, and built a WordPress website for an agriculture technology client.
Currently, Nischal is fulfilling the role of Director of Technology Advancement at INTENT, an independent, farmer-centric company focused on testing and implementing innovative agricultural products and solutions.
Nischal Shrestha attended Truman State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
