Sheena Pitura

Sheena Pitura has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sheena began their career with Canterra Seeds in 2006 as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator and quickly moved up to become the Canola Product Line Manager. Sheena then transitioned to the role of Marketing Manager and eventually became the Director of Marketing, where they served from July 2013 to February 2020.

In 2020, Pitura joined Economic Development Winnipeg as a Business Development Manager and Strategic Lead. In this role, they were responsible for supporting new private sector job creation, investment, business-to-business relationships, and business event attraction, with a focus on the Agribusiness, Life Science, and Transportation & Distribution sectors. Sheena held this position until September 2021.

Most recently, Pitura joined INTENT in September 2021 as a Commercial Director. In this capacity, they played a vital role in the company's strategy and marketing efforts. In April 2022, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Strategy & Marketing. As Vice President, they continue to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Sheena Pitura completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba from 2000 to 2004. Sheena also obtained a Certificate in AgriMarketing from the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association. Additionally, they studied Tools & Fundamentals of Publicity & PR at the University of Toronto. However, no specific start and end years are provided for the latter two educational experiences.
