Chris Smith

Chris Smith has extensive work experience in the education sector. Chris is currently working at Inaburra School as the Head of Senior School (7-12) since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Professional Learning at Inaburra School from January 2022 to April 2023. Chris also worked at William Carey Christian School as the Dean of Students (7-9) from 2018 to 2021. Their previous role was at Richard Johnson Anglican School as the Stage 6 Coordinator and Science Teacher (Physics/Biology) from 2015 to 2018. Chris started their career at Penrith Anglican College as a Science and Theory of Knowledge Teacher from 2011 to 2014.

Chris Smith's education history begins in 2002 when they attended the University of Sydney and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. After that, from 2008 to 2009, Chris pursued a Diploma of Theological Studies at Moore Theological College. Following a gap, in 2010-2011, they attended the University of New England (AU) and completed a Diploma of Education. Later, from 2017 to 2018, Chris pursued a Master of Research degree in Education at Macquarie University. Currently, they are studying for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education at the University of Tasmania, with an expected completion date in 2024. The field of study for their Doctorate is Education.
