Postdoctoral Researcher at Inagene Diagnostics

Joshua Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy and research. Joshua has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Western University and Inagene Diagnostics Inc. Joshua also has experience as a Physiotherapist at the London InterCommunity Health Centre, where they worked with a variety of populations including chronic pain patients, low socioeconomic status individuals, and marginalized populations. Joshua has also served as a Course Manager and Lecturer at Western University, where they taught first-year physical therapy courses and managed guest speakers and evaluations of students. In addition, they have gained practical experience as a Student Physical Therapist at various healthcare organizations including Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, Thames Valley Children's Centre, Lifemark Health Group, St. Joseph's Health Care London, and London Health Sciences Centre. Prior to this, Joshua worked as a Program Coordinator at the University of Calgary.

Joshua Lee began their education by completing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary from 2002 to 2007. Joshua then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the same institution from 2008 to 2011.

In 2015, Joshua returned to Western University to earn a Master's degree (MPT) in Physical Therapy/Therapist, which they completed in 2017. During their time at Western University, Joshua also obtained a Phlebotomy Technician Certification (PTC) from Medix College in March 2016.

After completing their Master's degree, Joshua continued their education at Western University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Rehabilitation Science from 2013 to 2020.

Additionally, Joshua has acquired several certifications in their field. In April 2012, they obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from Oxford Seminars. Joshua also holds an Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy - Level 1 certification from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association - Orthopaedic Division, obtained in June 2017. Joshua is certified as a Physical Therapist [Provisional] and Physical Therapist by The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, obtained in June 2018 and February 2019 respectively. Finally, they have a Standard First Aid, CPR and AED - HCP certification from St John Ambulance, obtained in August 2018.
