Connor Timm

Sr. Operations Quality Engineer at Inari Medical

Connor Timm has a diverse work experience. Connor recently joined Inari Medical as a Sr. Operations Quality Engineer, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at MicroVention-Terumo from 2017 to 2022, where they held multiple roles. Connor started as an Engineer I (EIT) in August 2017 and later became a Quality Engineer I from May 2019 to August 2020. In August 2020, they were promoted to the role of Quality Engineer II, where they supported the WEB and VIA product lines and assisted with the integration of Sequent Medical at Microvention.

Before joining MicroVention-Terumo, Connor worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Alford Lab at the University of Minnesota from September 2014 to January 2017. In this role, they assisted Professor Alford in research related to the contractile properties, environmental responses, and mechanical durability of muscle tissue.

In addition to their research experience, Connor also gained practical experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Woodford Manufacturing Co from June 2016 to August 2016. In this role, they found and implemented mechanical solutions for assembly and manufacturing machines. Connor also worked on a project to automate a previously non-automated process, which involved programming a robot arm, engineering mechanical solutions, and creating a proof-of-concept prototype.

Overall, Connor's work experience demonstrates their expertise in quality engineering, research, and manufacturing engineering.

Connor Timm obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Minnesota between the years 2013 and 2017. Prior to attending the University of Minnesota, they briefly attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2012 and 2013. In November 2018, they obtained the CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional) certification from Dassault Systèmes.
