Pat Edwards grew up in the small town of Roodhouse, Ill., and attended North Greene High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Illinois College in 1990.
After graduating, Pat took a job in Bloomington at a finance company, where he worked for six years. A new position as branch manager at Illini Bank (now United Community Bank) brought him to Springfield. He gained experience as a commercial credit analyst for Illini Bank before becoming Chief Credit Officer for Town & Country Bank in 2002.
In 2008, Pat joined INB, where he now serves as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. Pat enjoys the challenge of figuring out what financing options will best fit the needs of his customers. “Commercial banking is interesting to me because no two businesses are alike,” he says. “They are all run differently, and as a result, no two lending needs are the same.”
