Ferad Zyulkyarov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2003, they served as an Intern Research Assistant at University College Dublin. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Software Developer at TyoSoft and later as an Intern Software Developer at Istanbul Technical University. In 2007, they interned as a Software Developer at Microsoft. Following these roles, Ferad joined Barcelona Supercomputing Center as a Research Scientist in 2006, where they conducted research on Transactional Memory until 2011. Ferad then worked at Intel as a Research Scientist, specializing in memory hierarchy and persistent programming with non-volatile memory until 2014. In the same year, Ferad founded RoomPlex, a marketplace for travel accommodation rentals. Subsequently, they joined Bodi.Me as an Information Technology Consultant, where they developed an MVP software for human body measurements using Kinect 2.0. From 2014 to 2018, Ferad also worked as an External Collaborator and Research Scientist at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, leading a large EU-funded project called Mont-Blanc2. Currently, Ferad Zyulkyarov is a co-founder and CTO of inbestMe Europe AV SA, a position they have held since 2017.
Ferad Zyulkyarov obtained a BSc in Computer Engineering from Dokuz Eylul University between 2001 and 2006. Ferad then pursued an MSc in Computer architecture, networks, and systems at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2006 to 2008. Ferad Zyulkyarov furthered their education and completed their PhD in Computer Architecture at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, in January 2016, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates.
