Masoud Safdari is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development, research, and project management. As a Principal Software Engineer at Siemens EDA since January 2024, Masoud focuses on advanced software solutions. Previously, at InBrace, Masoud was a Senior Algorithms Engineer responsible for creating a cloud-based system for lingual braces and optimizing existing automation processes. A former Senior R&D Engineer at Ansys, Masoud specialized in high-performance computing and feature development. As a Senior Research Scientist II at Illinois Rocstar, Masoud led technical projects in scientific software development and machine learning integration. Educationally, Masoud holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech.
