Jose Manuel de la Cruz Sánchez

Jose Manuel de la Cruz Sánchez has been working in the field of neuroscience since 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Walter Schottky Institute, Technische Universitat Munchen. During this time, they were responsible for researching and exploring carbon based materials to fabricate devices aimed to bidirectionally interface the nervous system. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a System Engineer at INBRAIN Neuroelectronics, where they were responsible for knowledge transfer from research to industry, microfabrication, electrical and electrochemical characterization, data analysis, system integration, and feasibility studies using large animal models.

Jose Manuel de la Cruz Sánchez completed a Grado in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 2010 and 2014. Jose Manuel then earned a Master's degree in Biophysics from the same university in 2014-2015. From 2014-2016, they were an Exchange Student in Physics at the Technical University of Munich. Jose Manuel is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Physics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
