Antti Pynnönen is the current CFO at Incap. Antti has held this position since January 2019. Prior to this, they were the Head of Department for Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Innovations for the Services Division at Wärtsilä from June 2011 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading the small M&A function, including alliances, investments, joint ventures, and divestments, within the Strategy & Business Development organization.
During their time at Wärtsilä, Antti focused on training and sparring top- and middle-management in Services global Area & Product lines organizations on M&A topics such as M&A strategy, valuation, due diligence, success/failure factors, integration, and findings on industry M&A benchmarks. Antti also actively hunted for M&A leads and new innovations, green field businesses, and markets in order to support Services strategy. This involved analyzing and valuating targets, creating business plans with the business owner (including EV, synergies, and strategic fit), and cooperating with Corporate M&A, Legal, and IM during the transaction phase (valuation, bid, due diligence, etc.). In addition to these responsibilities, Antti also led certain Services efficiency improvement initiatives together with initiative leaders as part of a large transformation program that was kicked-off together with McKinsey.
