Chris McDonald is a Package Quality Lead at INCH CAPE OFFSHORE LIMITED, overseeing the quality of foundations for WTG sub-structures. With a background in quality control and inspection roles in various offshore wind projects, Chris has experience in monitoring fabrication, welding, coating, and testing processes to ensure project quality and compliance with standards. Chris has a HNC degree in Fabrication and Welding with NDT, and has also completed NEBOSH certification.
INCH CAPE OFFSHORE LIMITED
The Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, currently in late stage development, will see up to 72 turbines located 15km off the Angus Coast and connect to the National Grid at Cockenzie, East Lothian. Once complete, it will be one of Scotland’s largest single sources of renewables energy and power over 1 million homes with clean electricity. Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is owned by Inch Cape Offshore Limited, an equal joint venture between Edinburgh based renewable and sustainable energy company, Red Rock Power Limited and Ireland’s leading energy company, ESB.
