Craig Braynion CEng MICE is a highly experienced Lead Structural Engineer with a substantial background in offshore engineering, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Lead Structural Engineer at Inch Cape Offshore Limited since January 2023, Craig has previously held similar leadership roles at SSE Renewables and Saipem, overseeing projects such as the NNG Offshore Windfarm. With expertise spanning from offshore substations to crude oil expansion projects with Saudi Aramco, Craig has successfully managed teams, ensured compliance with design regulations, and contributed to significant engineering projects across various companies including Siemens and Atkins. Craig holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Hons) from Heriot-Watt University and an HNC in Civil Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University.

The Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, currently in late stage development, will see up to 72 turbines located 15km off the Angus Coast and connect to the National Grid at Cockenzie, East Lothian. Once complete, it will be one of Scotland’s largest single sources of renewables energy and power over 1 million homes with clean electricity. Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is owned by Inch Cape Offshore Limited, an equal joint venture between Edinburgh based renewable and sustainable energy company, Red Rock Power Limited and Ireland’s leading energy company, ESB.
