Seán Kirwan

Seán Kirwan has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Seán is currently working as an Offshore Windfarm Project Manager at INCH CAPE OFFSHORE LIMITED since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at ESB, where they held various roles from 2012 to 2020. These roles include Power Station Plant Manager, Generation & Trading Business ISEM Project Manager, and Prompt Trading Manager. At ESB International, they worked from 2008 to 2012 and held positions such as Front Office Trading Operations Manager, Project Manager for GB Asset Trading Project, and Commercial Specialist ESBI Investments (UK Business). Before joining ESB International, Seán worked at ESB from 2002 to 2008, where they held multiple roles including Plant Manager, North Wall Power Station, Commercial Group Project Engineer, Maintenance Overhaul Manager, and Operations Shift Manager.

Seán Kirwan completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Diploma in Financial Management from Dublin Business School. Later, in 2007, they attended INSEAD for a short-term course in Finance for Executives, focusing on Financial Management. Furthering their education in the field of Project Management, Seán completed a Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin, during the period of 2009 to 2010. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Leading Strategic Projects Successfully from the Executive Education at Cambridge Judge Business School.
