Nicolás Egaña Serrano has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Nicolás started their career in 2007 as an HR Consultant, where they worked on various recruitment, training, and change management projects. During this time, they also created HR Pro-bono projects for charity foundations.

In 2010, Nicolás joined Indumotora, where they served in various roles. Nicolás started as an Organizational Development Leader and was responsible for implementing a competency-based model for recruitment, performance, and development. Nicolás also developed employee experience management and action plans. Later, they became an HR Business Partner, focusing on Spare Parts & Logistics and Shared Services areas. In this role, they implemented corporate programs and policies, advised the executive team, and managed HR in conjunction with HR centers of expertise. Nicolás then served as a Retail HRBP and Talent Acquisition Manager, where they became a business partner for the automotive retail area and led recruitment strategy for the company. Finally, they served as an Organizational Development Manager, where they integrated recruitment, training, and organizational development to boost efficiency and improve services.

In 2014, Nicolás also worked as a Professor in Organizational Psychology at Universidad Gabriela Mistral. Nicolás taught courses in this field until December 2020.

Most recently, Nicolás has been working at Inchcape plc since 2017. Nicolás started as the Head of Talent and Development in Chile, where they led the integration process during the Indumotora acquisition and implemented performance, talent, and culture processes aligned with the corporate strategy. Nicolás then became the Head of Talent and Development for Americas & Africa, responsible for leading talent and development strategy in Central America, Latin America, and Africa. Nicolás executed talent management, performance, learning, and employee engagement programs, while also leading standardization programs for recruitment, induction, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives. Currently, Nicolás holds the position of Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Inchcape plc, where they are responsible for defining and executing the global Talent Acquisition strategy across the company's Group Functions and regions.
