Derek Willsher Fics

Derek Willsher FICS has over 45 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Currently serving as Port Manager at Inchcape Shipping Services since October 1988, Derek oversees operations at the Fawley Marine Terminal. Previously, Derek held roles in Terminal Operations and as Mediterranean Trade Co-Ordinator at Orient Overseas Container Line from March 1984 to October 1988, and as Import Forwarding Manager at Michael Gibbons Freight Ltd. from September 1976 to March 1984, where responsibilities included customs clearance and financial documentation. Derek is educated at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (2012-2014), has management training from the Institute of Leadership and Management, and graduated from King Edward VI School, Southampton in 1976.
