Justin Galea

Justin Galea is a professional with extensive experience in marine and environmental consultancy. Currently serving as Manager B for Port Environment at Transport Malta since August 2025, Justin previously worked as a Fisheries & Marine Consultant at AquaBioTech Group from January 2022 to August 2025. Prior to this role, Justin held the position of Scientific Officer at the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights from August 2021 to January 2022 and worked as a Research Support Officer I at the University of Malta for a brief period in late 2019. Justin's career began with an internship at the Environment and Resources Authority in mid-2019. Academically, Justin holds a Master’s degree in Marine Environment Protection from Bangor University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Malta, complementing a solid educational foundation from GF Abela Junior College and De La Salle College Malta.
