Adam Chater

Adam Chater is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors, currently serving as Project Director and Project Manager at Incitec Pivot Fertilisers since March 2022. Prior to this role, Adam held the position of General Manager at Highwall Mining Australia, successfully leading the company's rebranding and operational development. Adam's tenure at Anglo American spanned over a decade, during which notable roles included Mining Superintendent for Highwall Mining and CHPP Maintenance Superintendent at Dawson Mine. Adam's career began at Rio Tinto as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, leading to the development of various reliability improvement programs. Adam holds an MBA from QUT and dual undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Finance from The University of Queensland, along with a Graduate Certificate in Maintenance Management from CQUniversity.
