Head Golf Professional at IVGID

Ashley Wood has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as an Assistant Golf Professional at Pro Kids | The First Tee of San Diego. Ashley then moved on to become an Assistant Women's Golf Coach at San Diego State University from January 2015 to June 2015. In September 2015, Wood became an Adjunct Professor at National University. In July 2016, they were hired as the Director of Golf and Fitness at Presidio Private Golf Club until April 2019. Currently, Wood is the Head Golf Professional at Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) since April 2019.

Ashley Wood obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Diego State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Ashley later pursued a Masters of Art degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same university, completing it between 2009 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, Ashley Wood obtained a Fitness Instructor certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in January 2010. Ashley also holds certifications for Professional Golf Association Class A Membership and The First Tee Coach, although the institutions and specific years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
