Bilal Jammal

Bilal Jammal has extensive experience in the field of technology and development.

Bilal began their career as an intern at MTC TOUCH, where they gained practical experience in site implementation and maintenance.

Bilal then worked as an Associate Software Engineer at BSynchro, where they were responsible for customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 to build web-based business applications.

After that, Bilal joined GlobalCom Holding s.a.l as a Network Engineer, where they provisioned corporate customer solutions, provided technical support, and performed analysis and diagnosis for customers' problems in a LAN/WAN environment.

Bilal then moved on to Nokia Bell Labs, where they held two roles. As a Research Intern, they contributed to internal research projects and innovation projects related to cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices. Later, as a Solutions Research Engineer, they designed, implemented, and operated cloud-native solutions and platforms, utilizing open-source software.

Currently, Bilal is working at Cloudreach as a Cloud Systems Developer, specializing in AWS. In this role, they collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify requirements and take projects from design through to build and implementation. Bilal also assists clients in migrating legacy workloads into dynamic, resilient, and scalable platforms following cloud best practices. Furthermore, they automate build and deployment processes, engages in continuous integration, and manages application configuration using automation and configuration management tools.

Bilal Jammal completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Lebanese University - Faculty of Engineering III from 2007 to 2012. Bilal then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science for Communication Networks from Télecom SudParis, which they completed between 2015 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Bilal Jammal has obtained several certifications. Bilal became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation in October 2019. Bilal achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023. Bilal also holds the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification, obtained in June 2021. In April 2021, they earned the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp. Moreover, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in March 2020. Back in September 2018, Bilal obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops (CCNA Cyber Ops) certification. Bilal has also acquired certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, and CCNP from Cisco, although the specific dates of obtaining those certifications are not provided.
