Karthick Prabakar

Karthick Prabakar is the Operations Director at Inclusive Energy in India. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Operations and Production at Vinfinet Technologies Pvt Ltd from May 2016 to October 2018.

At Vinfinet Technologies, Karthick was responsible for collaborating with leadership across multiple teams to formulate and implement strategy to reach business goals. Karthick also spearheaded project negotiations, analyzed the scope with key stakeholders, and drove end-to-end operations to deliver projects within the budget.

Under Karthick's leadership, the company successfully integrated IoT into irrigation automation systems, which gave a holistic spectrum for process automation and better product positioning. Karthick also conceived a go-to-market strategy for the product launch of the 'precision irrigation assistant' system through a subscription business model, which increased customer acquisition by 3X.

Karthick has a proven track record of success in managing projects and teams. Karthick has developed plans and milestones for measuring effectiveness of product operations during NPI/NPD, and has created evaluation reports for stakeholders highlighting scope for improvement. Karthick is also skilled in creating project documentation, identifying risks and learning for mitigation strategies.

Karthick is a dynamic leader with a passion for building successful teams and businesses. Karthick has built a dynamic supplier/manufacturer network and devised a vendor relationship management process that has made way for qualitative, cost effective, and quick in time production. Karthick has also demonstrated that co-opetition with competitors can increase the likelihood of commercial success of disruptive products.

Looking to the future, Karthick is already working on new initiatives, such as pitching business cases for integrating 3P APIs for monitoring crop health, soil quality & moisture, irrigation patterns, weather forecast etc., through satellite image processing.

Karthick Prabakar has an executive post-graduation from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in strategy management and implementation. Karthick also has a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Anna University. Karthick attended RSK Higher Secondary School.
