Tom Hickman

Tom Hickman has an extensive work experience in the life sciences and biotechnology industries. Tom began their career in 1998 at KARL STORZ GmbH & Co KG as a Full Line Territory Manager/Account Executive, where they grew revenues 3x to $2.2M in 6 years and secured an $800K agreement and a $545K standardization contract. In 2014, they became the VP Business Development at 3si | Surgical Safety Solutions/Investor/Co-Founder, where they started the company and developed a software solution to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes. In 2018, they joined Tergus Pharma as the Commercial Sales Manager and Business Development Manager, where they sold a complete line of R&D and CDMO professional services and generated over $15 million in revenue. In 2020, they moved to Chainyard as the Director of Business Development - United States, where they accelerated the development of blockchain infrastructure, middleware, and decentralized applications. Currently, Tom is the Senior Manager, Business Development - United States at INCOG BioPharma Services, striving for better and creating a new standard of CDMO that considers the customer's experience from initial discussion through final packaged product delivered to patients.

Tom Hickman has a Bachelors degree in Communications/Business from Bowling Green State University and has completed Social Media - LinkedIn/Twitter/Blog Networking coursework from Wake Technical Community College. Tom has also obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: Learning Cloud Computing: Public Cloud Platforms in September 2021 and Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts.
