Prior to that, Lucas worked as a Machine Learning and NLU Researcher at CNPq, where they contributed to a project focused on Siamese Networks for Similarity of Opinion Texts. Lucas also gained experience as a Data Scientist Intern at Itecnove, a business group focused on BI and incubation of innovative startups, and as a Technology Manager and Co-founder at Untagged, a startup company that developed a search engine to mine information about products/services.
