Vanessa Barksdale

Vanessa Barksdale, MBA, MaED, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Senior Accountant at InCommunity since October 2022, while also founding and leading A Step Ahead Educational Services, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing educational services. With a diverse background in accounting and management, Vanessa held previous positions including Accounting Manager at Encore Recycling, LLC, and Senior Staff Accountant at Metro Alloys, Inc. Additionally, Vanessa has extensive experience as Director/Controller at Kiddie Village Day Care Center and Senior Accountant at Blaze Recycling and Metal, LLC, among other roles in both the manufacturing and service industries.
