Marco Hutter

Marco Hutter is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in robotic systems. Since March 2009, Marco has served in various positions at ETH Zürich, including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Deputy Director of the Autonomous Systems Lab, and Postdoctoral Researcher, culminating in a leadership role as Director of the Robotic Systems Lab since October 2015. In addition to academic roles, Marco has co-founded multiple companies, including ANYbotics, Gravis Robotics, Swiss-Mile, Bota Systems AG, and incon.ai, while currently holding the position of Senior Director Research at The AI Institute. Marco completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich in 2013 and holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation from the same institution, earned in 2009.
