Akthm Elkhateb has held various accounting and finance roles since 2009. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Financial Manager and Senior Accountant at BADR, where they were responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and compliance to internal policies, ensuring compliance with taxation legislation, and preparing a Quarterly Financial Report. From 2013 to 2016, they were the General Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant at INTERMAINT Group, where they were responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and compliance to internal policies, ensuring compliance with taxation legislation, and preparing a Quarterly Financial Report. From 2009 to 2013, they were the Senior Chartered Accountant and Chartered Accountant at Magdy Mazloom Chartered Accounting Firm, where they were responsible for auditing financial information, providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation, preparing financial statements, bookkeeping, assisting in auditing, and assisting in preparing financial statements. In 2019, they became the Finance & Accounting Manager at Incorta.

Akthm Elkhateb obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Alexandria University between 2006 and 2010.
