Tomoji Ashitani

Tomoji Ashitani has worked in the software development industry for over 28 years. Tomoji began their career in 1992 as a Software Developer at CSK. In 1996, they joined Oracle as a Software Developer, where they worked on internationalization of various products and services. Tomoji then became an I18N Architect, setting I18N standards and providing I18N Architecture/Design consultation to product development teams. Tomoji also designed and developed Oracle XML Publisher and Oracle PASTA driver. In 2018, Tomoji joined Incorta as Director Of Engineering, leading the backend US development team. Tomoji was also Engineering Manager and Software Architect, working on In-Memory Columnar Database and Business Intelligence (BI) using Apache Parquet.

Tomoji Ashitani obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Kyoto University between 1988 and 1992.
