Betty Lamothe is an accomplished translational scientist currently serving as Associate Director of Translational Sciences at Incyte since January 2018, leading hematologic malignancy programs and fostering innovative therapeutics from bench to bedside. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where significant contributions were made in preclinical testing of novel therapeutic agents for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and the investigation of inflammatory pathways pertinent to cancer and bone diseases. Betty Lamothe has also advanced research initiatives focused on TRAF6's biological functions and has received the Rolanette & Berdon Lawrence Bone Research Award. Betty’s postdoctoral research spans institutions such as Yale University School of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center, with a strong foundation in human genetics, culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Pierre & Marie Curie (Paris VI).
