Dr. Alexander Atanassoff

Dr. Alexander Atanassoff is a seasoned professional in the fields of hematology and oncology, currently serving as a Senior Key-Account-Manager at Incyte since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Customer Engagement Specialist at MSD and a Key Account and Product Manager at Merck Gruppe. Dr. Atanassoff's academic background includes post-doctoral research at Universität Bern, focusing on plasmalemmal repair in response to bacterial toxins, as well as extensive studies on gene expression and kidney transporters during doctoral studies at the University of Zurich. Dr. Atanassoff holds dual bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and biology from the University of Navarra, complemented by a master's degree from the Institute for Experimental Immunology and Physical Chemistry at the University of Zurich.
