Sunkyu Kim

Sunkyu Kim is an accomplished pharmaceutical leader with extensive experience in drug discovery and development. Currently serving as Vice President at Incyte since October 2018, Sunkyu Kim oversees preclinical drug discovery programs, leading pharmacology and target discovery initiatives with a track record of multiple IND filings and presentations at major scientific venues. Prior roles include Head of Protein Homeostasis at FORMA Therapeutics, where Sunkyu Kim managed oncology-focused drug discovery programs, and Director of Translational Medicine at Roche Diagnostics, focusing on biomarker discovery for personalized medicine. Sunkyu Kim's lengthy tenure at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research included various leadership positions in oncology drug discovery, contributing to the development of key therapies. Educational credentials include a Postdoctoral Fellowship from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo.
