Wendy J van der Spuy

Wendy J van der Spuy, MSc, PhD, CMPP, currently serves as the Director of Publications & Scientific Communications at Incyte, overseeing the portfolio for vitiligo, including the FDA-approved Opzelura (ruxolitinib cream). With prior experience as an Associate Scientific Director at ICON plc and roles as a Senior Medical Writer and Lecturer, Wendy has developed a robust career in scientific communication and research. Highly recognized for research contributions, Wendy received an NRF researcher rating Y2 in 2015. Educational achievements include a PhD and MSc in Anatomy from the University of Pretoria, alongside a BSc in Medical Sciences and honors in Human Cell Biology.
