Diana Li has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an African & Oceanic Art Intern at Sotheby's in 2010. Diana then transitioned to the role of Administrative Assistant to the Director and Vice Provost of Penn Libraries at the University of Pennsylvania, where they worked from 2007 to 2011.
