Polina Dovnar

Polina Dovnar is a skilled Research Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, currently employed at InData Labs since August 2020, where Polina designed an end-to-end ML system for sentiment analysis of game reviews utilized by Wargaming. Previously, Polina worked at Synesis from April 2018 to February 2020, developing a system for news analytics during national sports events, successfully implemented during the 2nd European Games in Belarus. Prior experience includes a role at IHS from September 2009 to March 2018, contributing to the development of a leading Chinese Semantic Engine and deploying AI components for various applications. Polina holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from Belarusian State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Translation, specializing in Chinese Language and Literature, alongside educational experience at Nankai University.
