Beth Engel

Beth Engel has over 24 years of extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as the Manager of Cash & Investments Accounting at Independence Blue Cross since April 2011. In this role, Beth oversees a team of nine professionals, focusing on GAAP, statutory, and management reporting related to cash and investments activity. Prior to this position, Beth worked at CIGNA from October 1999 to April 2011 as an Accounting Manager, where responsibilities included managing the employee benefits expense accounting team and overseeing the accounting and analysis of various employee benefits. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
