Dave Snyder

Dave Snyder has over three decades of experience in information technology and cybersecurity, primarily at Independence Blue Cross, where a longstanding career began in April 1987. Currently serving as Cloud Security Architect and Chief Information Security Leader Emeritus, Dave leads a dedicated cybersecurity team and promotes technology and security within the organization and external partners. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Leader, where responsibilities involved protecting information assets and liaising with various departments on security matters, as well as Director of Telephone Technology and Director of Computer Operations. Prior to Independence Blue Cross, Dave held positions at Keystone Health Plan East and Vista Health Plan, and developed foundational skills in programming and computer operations. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Saint Joseph's University.
