Jeff Powell

Jeff Powell has extensive experience in sales and operations within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Director of National, FEP & Private Exchange Sales at Independence Blue Cross since July 2011, responsibilities include leading new business sales, managing third-party private exchange contracts, and overseeing human capital and national distribution channels. Previously, Jeff Powell held the position of Director of National, FEP & Private Exchange Business at Sterling SIA, Inc. from November 2010 to July 2011, where collaboration on corporate operations and vendor partnerships was key. Prior to that, as Chief Operating Officer at The Luzmon from March 2008 to November 2010, Jeff Powell managed the U.S. launch of a European start-up. Jeff Powell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980.
