Laura Hanes

Laura Hanes is a Public Relations/ Corporate Communications Manager at Independence Blue Cross since July 2012. Prior to this, Laura served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Josh Shapiro at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from June 2008 to January 2012. Laura also held positions such as Director of Policy and Outreach at the same office, Development Director at the Committee of Seventy, and Director of Annual Giving and Special Events at Harcum College. Laura holds a Master of Government Administration from University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Maryland.
