Shannon Oehme

Shannon Oehme has extensive experience in auditing and assurance, currently serving as Lead Corporate Auditor at Independence Blue Cross since January 2017, previously holding the titles of Senior Corporate Auditor and Corporate Auditor. Prior experience includes roles at BDO USA, LLP as Experienced Senior Assurance Associate and Experienced Assurance Associate, and at CohnReznick LLP, recognized as the 11th largest accounting, tax, and advisory firm in the United States, as Experienced Assurance Associate. Shannon's early career included positions as Assurance Associate at CohnReznick LLP and Tax Intern at Urish Popeck & Co., LLC, along with administrative responsibilities at the Executive Education Center. Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 2011.
