Loreen Loonie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and community relations within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Independence Care System since February 2005, Loreen has successfully created and implemented a strategic communications vision for a 2,500-member organization while leading market research initiatives. Previous roles include Vice President and Director of Community Relations at Independence Care System, where Loreen directed outreach and recruitment activities, and Director at the Angela Perez Center for People with Disabilities at YWCA of the City of New York, overseeing program design for young people with disabilities. Additionally, Loreen served as the Director of Advocacy at the United Spinal Association, focusing on the equal treatment of individuals with disabilities through education and legislative efforts.
