Samantha Canfield

Samantha Canfield is a dedicated educational professional with experience in special education, visual arts, and crisis counseling. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Independence Charter School since July 2023, Samantha has previously held positions as a Visual Arts Teacher at Color Theory Studio and a Crisis Hotline Counselor at Centre Helps. Additional experience includes student teaching roles at Radio Park Elementary School and Lifelink, as well as working as a Behavioral Health Technician at Proud Moments ABA and a One to One Counselor at Buckley Day Camp. Samantha's educational background includes two Master's degrees from Penn State University in Curriculum and Instruction and Special Education and Teaching, along with a certification in Mindfulness and Meditation from My Vinyasa Practice, LLC.
