Monte Bohna, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Grants and Foundation Relations at Independence Mission Schools, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Monte was the Foundation Relations Officer at The Jack Miller Center, where grant proposals were successfully managed and new foundation relationships developed. As a Grant-Writing & Development Consultant at LM Grant Consulting, Monte provided expertise in grant writing and fundraising for social services and education organizations. Previous roles include Director of Development & Outreach at Dragon's Den and Development Officer at Pittsburgh Girls Choir, where significant portions of operating budgets were secured through fundraising efforts.
