Jake Young

Jake Young is an experienced sales professional in the wine and spirits industry, currently serving as a Sales Representative for Independence Wine & Spirits since April 2022. Prior to this role, Jake was a Territory Sales Representative at Wilson Daniels from September 2020 to April 2022 and a Long Island Fine Wine Portfolio Specialist at Lauber Imports from January 2017 to September 2020. Early career experience also includes serving as Director of the Theatrical Division at Young Equipment Solutions, Inc., Wine Director & Sommelier at Anthony Scotto Restaurants, and Director of a Global Wine & Spirits Database at Incentient Inc. Jake began the career in the wine industry as Wine Director & Sommelier at Rothmanns Steakhouse. Educational achievements include an Advanced Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America, along with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont.
