James Tippit

James Tippit is currently the EVP of Corporate Responsibility at Independent Bank. Prior to this, they served as the Treasurer for the Collin County Homeless Coalition from January 2011 to January 2015. In this role, they oversaw Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, CRA, Community investment and involvement. James also served as the Lead Pastor at Harris Creek Baptist Church from August 2005 to May 2010.

James Tippit has a Master of Letters in both Global Executive Leadership and Divinity/British Lit from the University of St Andrews, as well as an MDiv in Theology from Baylor University. James also has a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
